Moved into a new home in the mountains. That was a stressful time. After about a month or two of moving in, I weighed myself and was amazed to see that I was around 260lbs. That's about a 15lb drop. I have no explanation for it. After seeing that drop, I joined Noom and weigh myself every morning and my weight is headed back up. I suppose I could blame it on more regular meals and probably more baked goods that I've been making. Our meals are still healthy though. Also, we've cut out so much of the take-out food. We used to have take-out 2-3 times a week. I think in all the 2+ months that we've been here, we've brought in Chinese twice and Italian once. One of the Chinese places sucked and the Italian we brought in was garbage. We'll still try a pizza from him but that's it. The other Chinese place has my seal of approval - it was pretty good.
Still have not joined a gym here and there are only two that are nearby - and when I say nearby, I mean within 15 miles. I'll check them out at some point soon but the weather here has been really cold. I'm not even out walking except for dog walking. I did a nice 2+ mile New Year Day walk around the neighborhood - went for a hilly route up to the highest point and then down. That was fun. I hope to be running that route someday.
