I've been very bad about getting back. Wasting 139 a month. I am a fucking idiot. I need to go because it really is a good class for me.
I made it back this week. My daughter wanted to take a free class to see how it went. She's a fitness nut. She's a yoga teacher and fitness instructor and teaches at a few places. She works at a HIIT gym and has just started at a kickboxing gym and does hot pilates and hot yoga and all kinds of crazy things. She felt that this really wasn't for her because she had a hard time getting her heart rate into the orange zone despite working really hard. I'd probably agree that for people who are really fit that this this might not be the way to go.
I, on the other hand, spend the majority of my time in the red zone trying not to die.
That's why I think this workout, if I combine it with a traditional lifting routine in the gym would work great for me. I've just not been able to get back to the gym either.
I basically spend all my free time walking a dog at the moment. FML. Seriously, if someone could just kill me, that would be great.
On a positive note, I'm losing some weight now because I've cut out almost all carbs except through whatever vegetables I eat. Also, I pretty much just try to starve myself and eat what little protein I can get away with. I managed to drop below 250 which is great. I can't remember the last time that happened. I was down to something like 244 last week. I forget to weigh myself this week. I was down to 247 then up to 252 then down to 244 and that's a bit crazy - all with no real changes to diet at all.
The last OrangeTheory workout was OK. I still don't like the place. I just do not feel comfortable there.
This was my workout on Sunday
