I'm doing this a little out of order but I'm sitting outside of Orange Theory with about 15 minutes before I head into my 5th class and I want to get started on my blogging of this experience before I start forgetting the feeling from the first class (or earlier) onward.
Later, I'll fill everyone in on my background and fitness history and all that along with my possibly short lived experience at Orange Theory. Right now, heading into class #5, I'm thinking "this is not the place for me". Some of that will be explained by my background and particular neurosis and will have nothing to do with Orange Theory or this particular OTF Club in Hewlett, NY. OTF Hewlett, it's not you, it's me.
Class #5 is at a slightly different time than my other classes. I had been going at 3:15 and had one at 4:30. Both during my workday when I could break away for a lunch hour. Scheduling in advance is hard for me. This one is 5:45 which is, technically, 15 minutes after the end of my day. I'm wondering if the makeup of the class will be different. We'll see I guess. This is also a new instructor, as far as I remember. I believe I've had at least 3 different coaches now over the 4 classes - might have even been 4, I'd have to try to remember.
I guess I better head into class and see if I can get the bike because I don't think my knees can take another treadmill session.
Madison was the coach at this one. She's an excellent coach. I'm sure they are all excellent and it all comes down to personal preference of who you are in more in tune with, who you can hear better, who can can follow and understand, etc. All the coaches I've had so far are great. They must go through a lot of training because its pretty cool what they do.
This workout, like all of them, has a lot of time spent in the Red Zone.
